Indore: A girl has lodged complaint of rape against her live-in-partner and his family members in MIG area on Thursday following court directive to this effect. In her complaint to the police, she stated that she had accidentally met Yogesh alias Goldy Piparade of Sukhalia near 'Chappan Dukan' market in November, 2010. They became friends and Yogesh took her mobile number.
The accused started telephonic conversation with the victim. After some days, the accused allegedly proposed the victim to marry him and she accepted.
With a promise to marry, the accused allegedly took her to a vacant flat near Bangali Square on November 27, 2010 and allegedly raped her. Subsequently, the accused repeated made physical relations with the victim. When she asked him to marry, he refused.
The victim alleged that she approached the mother and sister of the accused and reported them about the incident. However, instead of asking the accused to atone for his mistake and marry her, they allegedly threatened the victim not to contact them ever again.
Finding no way out, the victim reported the matter at MIG police station and Mahila Thana. However, the officials did not take appropriate action.
Disappointed over the incident, the victim finally filed a plea in the district court. The court instructed the police to register a case under sections 376 and 506 against Goldy and also booked his mother Vidhyabai and sister Kavita under sections 294 and 324 of IPC.

The Mumbai police has arrested the chief operating officer of an online survey company for alleged financial irregularities, police said on Friday.
Tarak Bajpai, the chief operating officer (COO) of Speak Asia, was arrested late last night in connection with a forgery case from the Vijay Nagar police station area, City Superintendent of Police Amarinder Singh said.
